This <b> excellent </b> blow by blow from <i> Lancair Fan </i>
For Internet Explorer Version 5.5 ( You can determine which version by
Selecting Help from the top tool bar and selected About Internet Explorer)
Once version is confirmed.
Select Tools from the Internet Explorer tool bar.
Choose Internet Options from the drop down menu.
Once in Internet Options - Choose the Security Tab (there should be 4 or 5
other tabs to choose from).
Once in Security Tab - Highlight Internet (it has a picture of a globe under
it) in the white window by single clicking on the Internet.
Once it is highlighted - Press Custom Level button on lower part of that
same window.
This should open a new window that displays Security Options.
Scroll down thru this long list until reaching a section titled Cookies.
Under the Cookies heading -
Highlight Disable for the option Allow cookies that are stored on your
computer AND
Highlight Disable for Allow per-session cookies.
Once you have Disabled these two items. Select OK.
You will be prompted...Are you sure you want to change security settings for
this zone?
Select Yes.
Then Select OK on the next window....
You should then be able to register on the Lancair Website......
Once you have successfully registered.
Run back through the above steps to change those two items you changed back
to their prior setting.
You should
Enable - Allow cookies that are stored on your computer AND
Enable - Allow per session cookies.
Then follow the remaining steps and you should be done.
